Selloff in emerging markets because of political turmoil in Italy

The political turmoil in Italy has investors nervous, which has led to a selloff in emerging market stocks and currencies. The main concern is that the crisis could lead to a low demand for emerging market goods and services. All markets were negative by north of a percent at the end of the different trading sessions.
