On Monday the Rand weakened against major currencies but noticeably against the US Dollar. This is on the back of the US 10-year treasury yield reached the highest since January 2014 after it fell one basis point. Precious metals prices came off with Gold slipping by 0.9% $1326.47 an ounce. Should the Rand continue to weaken, the Rand-hedges and financials will be on the cards for trading.
