The local market closed stronger on Friday with all the sectors up by more than 2%. The JSE ALSI closed up 3.25%. The U.S President stated that OPEC should pump more and called the current practice ‘manipulation of the oil market’. This week on Friday, the U.S is scheduled to impose more tariffs on Chinese goods. The USA is also expected to release the all-important Non-Farm Payrolls numbers at 2.30pm on Friday.
